1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how GetBusy collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use the GetBusy Operator Platform. The service is an AI-assisted workspace for service businesses and currently focuses on read-only QuickBooks Online analysis.
2. Information we collect
We collect account information such as names, email addresses, authentication records, workspace membership, and role information. We collect workspace content such as tasks, findings, approvals, agent messages, settings, and activity logs. If you connect QuickBooks Online, we collect OAuth connection details and synced business records such as customers, invoices, vendors, accounts, bills, purchases, payments, balances, transaction dates, and related accounting metadata.
We may also collect technical information such as IP address, browser or device details, pages viewed, request timestamps, diagnostic logs, and security events.
3. How we use information
We use information to provide and operate the service, authenticate users, connect and sync integrations, generate AI-assisted findings and suggested tasks, maintain workspace history, respond to support requests, protect the service, debug issues, enforce terms, and comply with legal obligations.
4. QuickBooks Online data
QuickBooks Online data is used to provide read-only operational analysis inside your workspace. We do not use QuickBooks data to make changes to your QuickBooks company file in the current MVP. We store access and refresh tokens in encrypted form and use them to sync authorized company data, refresh access when permitted, process webhooks, and disconnect the integration when requested.
5. AI processing
We may send relevant workspace and integration data to AI service providers to generate summaries, findings, recommendations, and chat responses. We instruct AI systems to stay grounded in available evidence, but AI outputs can be wrong or incomplete and should be reviewed by an authorized user.
6. How we share information
We share information with service providers that help us host, secure, analyze, support, and operate the service, including cloud infrastructure, database, authentication, and AI providers. We may share information with connected integration providers at your direction, with your organization’s authorized users, to comply with law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transfer such as a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.
7. Data retention and deletion
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal obligations. If you disconnect QuickBooks, we stop using the revoked OAuth connection for future syncs. You may request deletion of account or workspace data, subject to legal, security, backup, and legitimate business retention needs.
8. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls, encrypted token storage, and separation of workspace data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or export personal information. You can also disconnect QuickBooks Online from the service or revoke access through Intuit. To make a privacy request, contact us using the information below.
10. Children
The service is intended for business use and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify users. The effective date above shows when this policy was last updated.
